Bioarchaeological Services
Tierra has a dedicated team of osteologists who provide bioarchaeological consulting services to other cultural resource management firms and to public and private clients. These services include excavation and analysis of human remains from historic and prehistoric contexts, Tribal consultation, and repatriation of remains to recognized descendant groups.
Tierra has the facilities and equipment to perform all required analyses in our Tucson laboratory, but the osteology team will travel to perform in-field or laboratory analyses elsewhere. We strictly adhere to negotiated burial agreements and always treat recovered remains with the dignity and respect they deserve.
